Grandmaster Ashpro-drums/percussion
GMA is a professional drummer/percussionist based in Birmingham England. Playing drums from the since the age of three and Trumpet from the age of eight Ash has always had a passion for music and performing. He had his first gig at the age of twelve and from there the musical journey began seeing him play with everything from Orchestras to Theatre productions, Jazz ensembles to Rock n' Roll bands.
Joining motown legend Edwin Starrs band at the age of fifteen Ash experienced everything from Arena gigs to school assembly concerts at a very young age. Ash's CV currently holds an impressive list of experiences which all add up to making him the experienced professional musician he is today.
Drum Kit set up includes - Modern / Vintage acoustic kits plus optional electronics. ( Set up varies according to situation) Percussion set up includes : 3 Congas, Bongos, Timbale, Cowbells, Bass drum, Snare, Cymbals, Chimes, Shakers, plus optional electronics, triggering devices and mics. Ash also plays Trumpet and Flugelhorn as well as percussion on club shows.
