It's all about the music and always has been for Joe. Ever since he can remember music is a passion for him and he loves performing. It started back in 1997 in his hometown of Derby. While other kids his age were recording the top 40 He was listening to Strictly Masters At Work and the Pacha albums.
As a young aspiring Dj, producer and promoter he got his early musical Influence from the likes of ATFC, Chocolate Puma, DJ Spen, Bingo Players, Dennis Ferrer, Masters at Work, Roger Sanchez and Armin Van Helden and developed a real passion for the label Defected. Other influences include Ron Carroll, Kerri Chandler, Erick Morrilo, The Swedish House Mafia, Mark Knight, Deadmau5 and many others.
Joes music brings a unique sophisticated sound to venues playing across the board in House music and not just limiting himself to one style be it soulful, uplifting funk, electro and tech house. Joes genre of music varies and changes to meet the needs of the crowd and venue.
With a passion he spins cool sophisticated House with a blend of Tech House, and where needed commercial House and Electro.
A DJ is only as good as his music selection but a greater DJ knows when to play the right song.
When watching Joe DJ he brings the ultimate electrifying atmosphere to the venue and does not disappoint.Within a short period of time he has made some astonishing achievements as a DJ gracing the decks across the Uk and Ibiza with the likes of Judge Jules, Hoxton Whores and the Scratch Perverts as well as playing the worlds most prestigious House music events which have included the beautiful Ibiza sunset at Kanya, Miss Moneypennys, Hed Kandi and Chuff Chuff.
He had his very first production FAITH signed to the Miss Moneypennys music label and is currently working on many projects for them, having just completed remixes for Timmy Vegas, Rhythm Royal and The Lovemakers.
His single FAITH has also now been released on the Miss Moneypenny Miami Music Sampler. It can also be found on the "Girls of Miss Moneypenny's" 3 Disc Album (2009).
Joe's production style has an electro edge yet he keeps it uplifting and funky with the introductions of live instruments which have included the piano, saxophone, guitar and even the flute.
Samples of these can be found on many of his releases.
The next steps for Joe in a long career of music is to return to Ibiza year after year, making new achievements in music production and bringing himself new and exciting challenges production wise and technically.
