How did my connection with MOS come about?
I started Dj'ing for the Ministry's Housexy brand three and a half years ago, At the time I was making records for Matt Stuart on Gung-ho and also had begun working with production partner Richard Murray on projects like Disco Drive on Slip n Slide. Then about a year ago I also started doing the other tour events such as Ministry of Sound, Sessions and Club Classics. I haven't looked back since.
Which of their many clubs is favourite to play in?
I've been to so many countries in the past few years the list is endless, the most memorable were Japan, A tour of India I did Dj'ing alongside Paul Jackson, I've been to China a few times now, South Korea, The Philippines, Colombia twice now that was amazing!. Russia, Morocco, and all the middle east gigs we do are wicked. I cant pick a favorite although MOS in London has got to be the best for me as it is where it all started for me. I still get butterflies when i walk into the booth there. Its a great club.
My Top track of the moment?
Sorry, I have to do it, I know its scandalous plugging your own stuff but the new track on Cr2 that I did with Richard Murray called "Dont Go" and features an awesome vocal from Lindsay Amarou. Its on the new Clubbers Bible 2009 album.
My plans for the future?
I've got some brand new records coming out on Gung-Ho in the next few months. Excited about those because there pretty special and I haven't released with Gung-Ho for a while so to be back with Gung-Ho again and with a couple of quality records I'm really proud of, its a good place to be. I've also signed a great artist in Stu Foster for my own label Mighty Moog records. His debut release "the Humanoid EP" which had "Roller Disqo" on it was immense. My labels just gaining momentum slowly but surely. All in the right direction. Very early days but with producers like Stu on board we've got that naive "we'll take on the world" mentality, also a good place to be.
