Rita Campbell got into the music industry at a very young age by singing on demos for various producers in various studios all over the UK. She soon built herself a very strong reputation for her studio / live session work and songwriting.
Rita has worked with many major artists such as THE BRAND NEW HEAVIES, STEPS, MICHAEL MCDONALD, WESTLIFE, JOOLS HOLLAND, SLY & ROBBIE, D:REAM, CARLEEN ANDERSON, LEMON JELLY, DELTA GOODRUM, DAVE GILMORE (Pink Floyd), STONEBRIDGE, ROGER TAYLOR (Queen), MORJAC, SOUL SEEKERZ, IAN CAREY, DJ ANTOINE.....to name but a few!
Rita also wrote the 'STEPS' UK No 1 hit 'Stomp' (Jive Records) and has recently been writing with STONEBRIDGE (1st & 2nd Albums), JASON HERD, MORJAC/MONTANAS, IAN CAREY, JON PEARN (Bodyrox/Full Intention), AVALON SUPERSTAR, CHRIS KAESER, KID MASSIVE, NIGHTSTYLERS, DJ BOMBA, TONY MORTIMER (East 17), JOEY MUSAPHIA, SWEETIE IRIE (Gorillaz), CHRISTIAN ALVAREZ, DIRTY LITTLE FUNKERS and many more.......
As well as session vocal work and songwriting Rita has been the lead featured vocalist on some great house tracks over the last few years. She has worked on various projects including STONEBRIDGE'S 1st album on Hed Kandi , CHRIS BANGS 'Warm Weather' on INC-redible, 'You know how to love me' on Hed Kandi, the fantastic cover version of Linda Clifford's 'Runaway Love' on Azuli, THE MONTANAS 'Love Just Found Me' on Tokyo Project, a cover version of The Brand New Heavies 'Spend some time' on Kidology, a brand new project with SOUL SEEKERZ & DIRTY VEGAS 'Avalon Superstar', STEVE MAC and TEAMSTERS.
